Sound Healing

Sound healing is a beautiful, peaceful way to resonate sound frequency vibrations through the body, bringing you into a state of tranquillity, harmony and health. This can be done using voice and instruments.

Each organism and object in the world has its own resonant frequency and vibratory rate. The human body is made up of over 70% water which makes it a very good conductor of sound. Our body is like an orchestra, when one organ in the body is out of tune it will affect the whole body. We can then retune it like a piano. Modern medicine now even uses sound waves to break up kidney and gallstones in the body.

Private Sessions: Take place in a private room laying down on a therapy bed. Crystal bowls or Himalayan bowls will be played, depending on the treatment needed.

Group Sound Baths: A range of instruments and bowls are played followed by a meditation.

The bowls begin to realign and balance the energy system, which in turn starts the healing process on the physical, emotional and mental levels.

Crystal Bowls

Crystal bowls are produced using 99.8% pure crushed and powdered silicon quartz crystal. The powder is added into a centrifugal spinning mould and the mix is heated to several thousand degrees in order to integrate the quartz particles. This process is known as quartz fusion.

The sound created by a crystal bowl is very pure, almost angelic, and create a wonderful space for a healing session. Each bowl is tuned to a particular note which will resonate with your chakras, energy field and your physical, emotional and mental bodies thus re-balancing and removing any blockages there may be.

Himalayan / Tibetan Bowls

There is debate as to where these bowls originate from, however most believe they originated from Nepal and East India. The bowls are made of between five to nine different metals including – gold, silver, copper, lead, mercury, tin and iron. They have a beautiful sound, that is more “earthy” than the crystal bowls, and they provide their own unique environment when played.

As the bowls are made up of many metals, they do not just produce one tone like the crystal bowls. They will have one dominant tone which will change depending on what type of puja is used to play the bowl.
